European Road Safety Charter Workshop in Sweden
We have the pleasure to invite you to a European Road Safety (ERS) Charter workshop on the 29th of May at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, Nils Ericsons Plan 4, 101 32 Stockholm. The event is co-organised with the 2017 Excellence in Road Safety Awards winner, The Swedish Abstaining Motorists´ Association (MHF).
The current phase of the ERS Charter is running from 2016 -2019 and this workshop is part of a series of ERS Charter events across all 28 Member States that will focus on helping stakeholders develop road safety commitments and take action by showcasing and discussing concrete examples and good practices from across Europe.
The Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation will present Sweden’s Vision Zero strategy and future developments, followed by an overview of the road safety situation in the EU from the European Transport Safety Council. You will find out what is the European Road Safety Charter, why should you join it and how can you do so. Concrete experiences from Swedish and Danish ERSCharter members will be showcased and the event will also provide an excellent occasion to discuss ways of improving road safety for all types of organisations.
