To continue with the commitments made in previous years, we have decided to offer staff access to awareness-raising and prevention activities addressing road safety, with a view to eliminating road accidents.

The action plan defined in 2006 will be continued in coming years, covering:

- Prevention and training: another Road Safety and Prevention Day will be held at our main office for all of our employees. It will be open to the following stakeholders: the Council of the Department of SAVOIE, the Road Accident Prevention Association, the National Police, Cie Assurance, the Fire Brigade, etc.
Probable date: first half of 2010. Coordinators: Managing Director’s Office/Quality Control and Road Safety Liaison Officer.

- Accident monitoring:
Real-time monitoring of accidents is provided for in the company, through the recording of indicators on a monitoring panel (accidents on missions with or without stops, accidents en route with or without stops, frequency rate FR1, FR2, number of days lost by the company, etc.) This constant monitoring is complemented by an examination of each accident, which is then addressed at meetings of the CHSCT (Comité d’hygiène, de sécurité et des conditions de travail – Committee for Health, Safety and Working Conditions) and reviewed by the management.
Date: already in place. Contacts: Managing Director’s Office/HR/Quality Control Officer.

- Training and awareness-raising:
Our training body GMF FORMATION has adopted a road safety module that can be integrated into training courses or recycling programmes required for the position of Security Agent.

Date: 2010. Contacts: Managing Director’s Office/GMF Formation.
All drivers to be monitored and held responsible for traffic violations (specifically, they are named for the acceptance of all violations).

Equipment needed:
As part of the preventative measures planned, steps are being taken to have a monitoring log on board all vehicles in the company fleet.
All vehicles are equipped with GPS systems, which will be renewed as they become outdated.
Date: currently being implemented. Contact: Purchasing Manager/Supervisors.
