The Madrid Tax Administration Agency is an autonomous body of the Madrid Town hall, with powers attributed by the legislation for the effective implementation of the tax system; its activity falls within the Services Sector of the Local Administration of the Community of Madrid.
The Autonomous Body of the Tax Agency of Madrid is considering as a fundamental objective the development and implementation of the actions provided in its Road Safety Plan, to be adopted over the financial years 2012 – 2013 and primarily affecting the area of training.
Development of an awareness-raising campaign on the prevention of accidents occurring during commuting or work tasks, addressed to all Agency staff. For this, the following resources will be used:
Training days addressing staff awareness regarding the use of public transportation and measures to prevent work traffic accidents. Informative material posted on the corporate intranet. Three-page leaflets.
Specific training actions aimed at risk groups by conducting onsite courses, online training and preventive and efficient driving courses. The course duration will vary between 2 and 5 teaching hours, although it may be extended according to needs; the content aims at building awareness and to inform about preventive measures in relation to the factors involved in pedestrian and driver road safety.
Investigation of work traffic accidents occurred during commuting or work tasks, causal analysis and implementation of preventive and training measures derived from the study.
