The Sodamoto dealership, in collaboration with the Centro di Monitoraggio per la sicurezza (Road Safety Observatory) of Crotone Province, commits to subscribe to the European Road Safety Charter by implementing a three-year programme involving a series of awareness-raising and educational initiatives on responsibility and civism on the roads in order to safeguard human lives.

The initiatives involved are:

• Informative meetings twice a year (one per semester) targeting our clientele (30-35 people).
• Annual publication of around 1000 informative flyers on road safety, to be placed in the office for customers to take with them.
• Printing the EU’s Ten Tips for Safe Driving on the back of all motorcycle sales invoices we issue (approximately 100 invoices per year).
• Free practical lessons in conjunction with theory classes (two hours of lessons) for secondary school children nearing the age for obtaining their moped or provisional driving licences. The lessons will deal with behaviour on the road (an estimated 150-200 students from various institutes and schools will participate).
• A complimentary helmet for those purchasing a moped in order to foster safer driving.
