The Association of car manufacturers and their authorized representatives for Bulgaria (ACM) is a non-profit association of Bulgarian legal entities, which have been authorized by manufacturers to import and distribute motor vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. It has 40 members. АСМ is the organiser of the Sofia Motor Show. The ACM is a member of The International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers OICA, since 1997 and also it is a member of The European Automobile Manufacturers Association ACEA, since 2005. ACM collaborates with the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, the Ministry of Environment and Water, The State-Public Consultative Commission on the Problems of Road Safety and the Traffic Police Department.

We will renew our commitment to the European Road Safety Charter with the following actions:

• We will supply all 6,000 employees of the companies members of the association with educational material for road safety. The educational material will be in the form of regulations, data and visual material acquired at the yearly “Sofia Motor Shows”, which are seminars on topics related to road safety and saving people´s lives on the road.

• During the next Sofia Motor Shows (50,000 visitors per year), we will organise a round table about road safety. In order to attract public attention, we will invite more than 350 journalists, who will communicate the issue. We will invite representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Water, Bulgarian Red Cross and State Public Advisory Committee on Road Safety. We will also publish the results of the round table on our website and in the newsletter about the event.
