All day kindergarten is located in 2 specially established buildings for 10 groups, Additional pedagogical services: English language, applied arts, swimming, folk-dances, modern dances, football, psychomotor activities, ski-school. Number of staff: 20

Compromiso

In compliance with the educational requirements for pre-school education, a board of teachers at kindergarten No. 55 developed a plan for training and educating children on road safety behaviour. This program outlines goals, tasks, tendencies and activities which our kindergarten will undertake for accelerating the progress of traffic education.

It will be realized in the period of 2009 - 2011:

Actions:

We will improve necessary technical equipment - we are building a playground for practical education of traffic regulations. (This is a task for 2009).

We will arrange regular meetings with parents, teachers and traffic police concerning traffic issues

Based on the topic of safety traffic regulations we plan several theatre productions, featuring actors of the puppet theatre - our permanent partners at this activity

We will promote sporting party "Cross the Road at Green Light" Program for both parents and chilren "Mummy, Daddy, let´s look on traffic regulations"

We will promote a children's drawing exhibition, which is available on our website www.cdg55.com with invitation for other kindergartens in the country to join.

We will make multimedia presentation of the program: a report of former activities as well as new proposals

We expect regular teachers´ participation at lectures and trainings on traffic safety organized by traffic police.

We will do preparation and imitation of real traffic situations - "Traffic Signs", "Traffic Regulations" etc. for children.

The whole project will be closely supervised by the director of our kindergarten Ms. Kacarska, as well as the commission entitled to produce the program along with government institutions.
