Of the 372 street crossings on the railroad network of the Styrian Federal State Railways (STLB) up to now only a part are equipped with light signals and barriers. Drivers very often underestimate the potential danger at these technically unsecured crossings and endanger themselves, train passengers and engine drivers. The STLB aims make these potential danger spots more secure.

Therefore we commit to put signal lights on ten more crossing within the next five years or to abolish these crossings completely in accordance with the neighbours and municipalities or other entities in charge with the maintenance of the streets.
