FEVR - Fédération Européenne des Victimes de la Route
FEVR's main aims are:
- to offer support and help to road crash victims;
- to contribute to road safety by highlighting road danger and the causes of crashes.
FEVR and its member organizations also highlight road danger and road safety issues from the victims' perspective, and from the post crash stage, advocating for institutions and authorities to implement and enforce those road safety measures that have been found through research to be most effective.
Compromiso
Most of our member associations observe the world day every 3rd Sunday in November to highlight the impact that road crashes have for families and the whole society and use so this opportunity to raise awareness of the Public and of the politics with the objective that they take the necessary steps to reduce this carnage. Those who lived such tragedies are best suited by their moral power to be involved as partners in road safety programs.
For the next 3 years, we are planning:
- to develop and promote the observance of the World Day of Remembrance, with more events and wider publicity every year and promote official recognition of the World Day of Remembrance by national governments.
- to establish an International Coalition against Road Trauma and promote national coalitions that are national advocacy networks to ensure nationwide advocacy for road danger reduction and for road victims.
