The Hellenic regional section of Euroscience is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, which aims at promoting science & technology, as well as policy-making in the field of research and development at national level. Euroscience is the National Contact Point (NCP) for the Action "Science in Society "of the European Union's FP7 and we have signed the European Commission Chart on Research and Technology. The branch assembles a multidisciplinary pool of experts and has supporters, friends and volunteers all over the country.

Euroscience Hellenic Division commits to the European Road Safety Charter for the next three years with the following actions:

• We will distribute 1500 leaflets related to road safety per year in our programmed events in Universities around Greece.

• We will provide free of charge georadar (Ground penetrating radar) methods to control and certify road surfaces in road construction projects of municipalities around the country. We believe that by helping Municipalities in these projects, roads of better quality will be delivered to the public and as such a safer traffic environment will be present.
