The aim of PERICULUM´s activities is to raise awareness to its members, but also to a wider public on the risky behaviors and patterns of road users. Major emphasis is placed on educational activities for children, youth and novice drivers.

PERICULUM undertakes to realize in the following three years activities free of charge related to road safety:

1. We will realize in each year at least 10events of the project „Prevention Team“ each for about 500 persons . Within these events we will demonstrate to participants the risky drivers behaviour using the help of interactive drivers simulators. Prevention team is a mobile model unit, which brings its own needed materials and technical equipment to the place of event. Team staff installs an exposition within 60 minutes, and prepares a sound system. Then a composed moderated program including relevant speakers, during which main topics of road safety are communicated, is launched.

2. We will realize in each year 10 workshops at least that will focus on accidents and alcohol usage. In our workshops we will focus on experiental learning and the use of interactive tools. Within these workshops we will use a crash simulator as an ideal tool to illustrate chat is going to happen with human body with the front hit to the solid barrier at the speed 30 km ph. At these events Fatal vision goggles simulate conditions corresponding to 1.5 per mil of alcohol in blood. The typical duration of these workshops is 4 hours. The events will take place monthly.

3. At our web sites we will inform about road safety problems and disseminate preventive information. Twice a year, always in March and September we will publish the on-line publication covering the most updated issues locally. The Spring edition will be devoted to motorbike drivers, the September one to schoolchildren.
