Hellenic Club Transalp is a motorcycle association established in 2000 in Greece and organises common interest activities such as:
Motorcycle tours in Greece, motorcycle trips abroad, trail rides in the mountains of Greece and sharing experiences around technical issues. The association also has cultural interests and aims to improve driving skills and enhance standards of proper driving behaviour. Hellas Transalp is willing to meet and collaborate with associations that have similar interests in Motorcycling.
Compromiso
We commit to the European Road Safety Charter for the coming three years.
1. We will encourage our members to attend seminars on safe driving and general safety on the road. For this we will identify through local organisations and road safety associations on going programs and seminars and communicate them to the members of our association who are now more than 2000.
2. We will use our on-line forums as an information and communication tool to communicate road safety topics to our members. We will open discussion on current road safety issues, inform them of new laws and regulations and encourage them to present good examples to the rest.
3. We will at our meetings inform our members of new types of safety measurements that can be taken such as new types of clothing, helmets and accessories that they can use to drive safer.
