China Vehicle and Road Safety Summit

The Global Status Report on Road Safety indicates that problems of vehicle and road safety is still intensifying. The traffic accident is one of the main causes of death. By 2030, the number of road deaths will rise to about 2.4 million per year. In addition, non-fatal injuries caused by traffic accidents, more specifically, 20 million to 50 million people per year has become a significant cause of disability. Traffic accidents happen from time to time in our country. Therefore, the
government is raising new requirements to road users and vehicles' safety while taking road safety under control, for
instance, the latest Highway Safety Law, the 12th five-year plan on road safety, taking drunk driving into criminal
punishment, etc. Meanwhile, the rise of new technologies such as the intelligent car, the telematics and the intelligent
transport system (ITS), has endowed the automobile with brand new contents of active safety and passive safety, which makes the automobile safer and the road clearer.


This forum will gather famous automobile enterprises and security system component enterprises, both home and abroad, to discuss about the development of vehicle and road safety system together. We will start from sharing and communicating ideas of the latest domestic policy tendence and international standard of safety certificate, application of active and passive safety system technologies and future trends. In this session, safety instructors from relevant department of the government association, institute of automobile enterprise, vehicle impact laboratory, relevant technical authorities such as CAE, suppliers and R&D units of automobile safety system and third party service provider of enterprises from relevant industry chain, will discuss with relevant enterprises on the development trend of safety technology, according to the trend of relevant policy, in order to contribute to the development of China's future security of roads and automobiles. Meanwhile, we will build a platform to offer opportunities and partnership to the companies for communication as well as challenges.
