The Czech Motorcycle Association is based in Prague (Czech Republic); it has two million members and five employees. The association seeks to defend the rights of motorcyclists before the state authorities and to inform the general public about the life and interests of this group of people.

1. We will organise a travelling truck exhibition, which will tour the Czech Republic. The objective will be to enhance prevention, avoid motorcycle accidents, and provide information about traffic issues and the role of technology in traffic. We aim to visit at least 12 major cities and raise awareness among some 300,000 people. Our objective is to repeat this exhibition every year and extend it to Slovakia.
2. As part of the “Motocykl” exhibition, which attracts 60,000 visitors every year, we will organise a contest, which will involve raising road safety awareness among companies in the automobile industry. The companies will seek to inform their customers about the dangers that riding motorcycles entails, and encourage them to drive responsibly. A trophy will be awarded to the most responsible company during a press conference. As part of the exhibition, we will organise a seminar with the chief of traffic police, as well as a contest on knowledge of the Highway Code, involving the participation of one representative of each exhibiting company.
3. Together with experts in the field, we will design web pages featuring traffic information, mainly on motorcycle safety issues. We will be using articles from representatives of the following organisations, which have already confirmed their support: the Department of Roads and Motorways, TSK, the police force, safety services and the fire brigade. The objective is to operate as an information channel in the field of transport and traffic. We will aim to raise awareness among up to 50,000 people every day.
4. We will launch a regular programme, to be broadcast on television, dealing with the prevention of accidents involving motorcycles, as well as first aid. We will provide information on how to use safety devices. We will organise free seminars for the public and experts. The seminars will deal with the prevention of accidents and the use of new technologies.
