S.S.Mesoraca is a sports association made up of a second division football team and a youth sector that involves young people and adolescents. There are approximately 120 people involved, including footballers, coaches and managers.

S.S. Mesoraca football team aims to set up a series of actions in order to improve road safety:

• We will use material (sports training kit) to feature road safety awareness messages that stress the importance of using seatbelts and helmets;


• We will give members of the public (approximately 50 people per event) entering the grounds for certain matches a leaflet provided by the Monitoring Centre of the Province of Crotone, with a decalogue of good practices to follow on the road;


• Road safety banners will be put up on certain premises (locker rooms, football pitches, association headquarters);


• We will also create a dedicated road safety section on our website and organise regular meetings with the members of all of the teams belonging to the various sectors (approximately 100 children, including the various junior football categories) to discuss the issue.
