The Transportation Engineering Faculty of University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) covers the whole spectrum of teaching on transport-engineering subjects. The students are thought in the following specialities: “Transport Engineering” - in three profiles - ”Road Engineering”, “Railway Engineering” and “Construction of Transport Facilities”.

As an education institution we commit to the European Road Safety Charter for the next three years with the following actions:

•  We will include road safety problems topics in the lectures and practical classes of all the students doing a taking the subjects “Urban planning, urban traffic, and streets”, “Urban public transportation” and “Stations, station structures and junctions”.

• We will initiate research on road safety from the point of view of road construction - safety fences, elastic fences, noise reduction walls.

• We will include and participate with seminars and conferences on the issues of road safety in the Youth Transport Forum, which takes place every year.

• We will popularize the ideas and principles of the charter among our students by posting information about it on our website.
