Road safety training in Vratsa

On 14th of June 2012 at 14 o’clock in the hall of St. Sophronius № 6 (Regional Inspectorate of Education - Vratsa) "Open Youth" together with the District Administration - Vratsa, RIO - Vratsa and Sector "Traffic Police" - Vratsa held a meeting with students from the city secondary schools 10 and 11 grade on measures to prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents.

The idea was to show to potential future drivers the importance of respecting the traffic regulations in order to omit accidents on the road.

The meeting was attended 72 students who were able to see a presentation on road safety, prepared by us, and to participate in demonstrations with alcogoggles, weight calculator showing how many times the weight of the person increases in a collision with certain speed.

In a special game the youngsters were convinced that one cannot drive and simultaneously carry out other activities because he is distracted and not focused on the traffic.
