The brochure "Road Safety 2011 - How is your country doing?" contains statistical information on each Member State’s road safety progress between 2001 and 2010. It seeks to enable Member States to compare their situations and encourage them to continue their efforts regarding road safety.

The scoreboard reveals the number of lives saved per country in 2010 in comparison to 2001 and in relation to the European Commission’s targets for 2011 (as outlined in the 2001 White Paper) It also reveals the number of fatalities per population in 2010 and the reduction of fatalities per country between 2001 and 2010.
