Road Safety Service of Aubagne
The road safety service of the town of Aubagne is a centre for awareness-raising, exchange and information open to every audience: the general public, elementary schools, secondary schools, town council staff, motorcyclists and cyclists, the disabled, etc., and more specifically all those who wish to take part in carrying out measures to prevent road accidents.

Road Safety City Forum: support and assistance given to the organisation Co-organised by the Town of Aubagne and the association LASER EUROPE, this Forum will provide an opportunity for participants to meet, to share best practices, to test out new means of mobilisation, to promote potential scientists, academics and professionals, to devise vocational training courses, to develop content and powers which involve the management of people and organisations in the field of road safety.
Monitoring of accidentology in the urban area of Aubagne
- Analysis of black spots by means of interventions by the Aubagne fire brigade. Mapping.
- Work meetings on infrastructure issues in the town.
Actions targeting nursery schools
- Sessions targeting the two final years of nursery school; the objective is to raise the awareness of parents and children as regards the use of restraint systems for child car passengers. This action shall reach approximately 2,000 children per year for three years.'Road Safety for the Young People of Aubagne Trophy'
Action in partnership with the Automobile Club of the West, the Education service and the municipal police targeting 9-11 year-olds. This action will target 500 children over a week for three years.
Actions targeting young people
- 'Foot Pied d'Immeuble' (Football at the foot of one's building) Awareness-raising action among fifty young people between 10 and 14 years of age which combines football and civic days.
Actions targeting senior citizens
- 'Cyber Seniors and Road Safety': awareness-raising on road safety for senior citizens (over sixty years of age).
