MANGO MNG HOLDING, SL is the head operational company of a group of companies dedicated to the design, manufacture, distribution and marketing of clothing and accessories for women and men through the MANGO/MNG fashion chain. It is present in 102 countries through 1757 retail shops. The number of employees of the group on September 30th 2011 was 10520 (3873 national employees and 6647 international ones).

Over the next years, MANGO will undertake to carry out the following activities in the field of road safety:

Raising-Awareness-:
We will conduct regular awareness campaigns with the aim of reducing commuting accidents. The employees will receive useful information (driving tips, adverse weather driving etc.) which will be reinforced with contents from the DGT (State Traffic Department).

Online Training
We have two online courses on road safety, which will be carried out through workplace accident insurance companies. A basic 5-hour one and a longer 10-hour one.

Investigating commuting accidents
All accidents are investigated with the aim that their analyses will help reduce the number of such cases to zero. The information obtained from these analyses will help adapt and adjust awareness-raising campaigns, actions and messages.

Fleet Vehicles Equipment
A specific procedure will be established in order to ensure that regular testing of the fleet vehicles will be carried out, thus meeting security requirements.

Mobility Plan
MANGO provides free public transport to MANGO Palau (central offices) and to the logistics centre in Parets del Valles. Facilitating this transport system which covers the main towns and routes where our staff come from (Barcelona-Palau, Sabadell-Palau, Barcelona-Parets, Sabadell-Parets)
This transportation includes the different entry and exit schedules with the resulting advantages of not driving individual cars. This service provides employees with 1449 seats on routs to Barcelona and Sabadell a Palau (the average number of vehicles used, mostly buses, is 26) on a daily basis and a total of 178 seats available on the route from Barcelona and Sabadell to downtown Parets (an average of 12 vehicles per day)

These actions will be directed at our employees. They will be carried out through the usual internal communication channels such as the MANGO Intranet, the Employee Portal, the quarterly magazine - MANGO news, monthly newsletters, bulletin boards etc.
