Although the rate of work traffic accidents in the companies is not high, the presence of risk supports our commitment  to make employees aware of the risks of driving and of its possible consequences for third parties.

Given the importance of the driver’s behaviour during traffic accidents, the road safety education of the employees is the main line of action in atisae in order to help prevent their occurrence.

In the coming years, the companies plan an information and awareness-raising campaign for all of its staff members through the dissemination of advice aimed at raising awareness of the issue and at promoting best practices in driving.

Throughout the year 2012 we plan to hand 3 information sheets to the 1300 permanent factory workers as well as to later additions, continuing the campaign during the following 2 subsequent years with the dissemination of new pieces of advice which will act as a reminder in order to consolidate the attitudes and habits of the workers towards a safer and more responsible driving.

At the same time, the companies will develop other activities for the improvement of road safety, related to employee training, vehicle safety, investigation of work traffic accidents etc., which reflect annually in the road mobility plan.

The results of the periodical monitoring of the mobility plan and of the accident data of the companies, will show the impact of the actions undertaken on the evolution of work traffic accidents in the company.
