On 04 and June 5, 2012 in Brussels, "Open Youth" participated in the seminar and the first meeting in the framework of the project Partnership2020, lead by the Belgian organization TOP-25 and co-funded by the "Youth in Action" programme of the European Commission DG "Education and Culture". "Open Youth" is the Bulgarian partner, together with Responsible Young Drivers (RYD) - Belgium, RYD - Luxembourg, RYD – the Netherlands, RSI "Panos Mylonas" - Greece. The main project objectives are to create a sustainable policy and networking between NGOs and CSRs departments of the companies in the direction of Climate friendly transport and to encourage youth participation in initiatives, related to awareness-raising about the issue. The meeting defined the goals and the tasks of Partnership2020 and outlined guidelines for future initiatives.
Host of the workshop on the theme "Working together for eco-friendly European roads" was Vittorio Prodi, MEP. It was attended by representatives of the European Commission DG "Move", Corporate Social Responsibility Europe, Nissan Europe and others.
