"Open Youth" is the winner in the category road safety campaigns, implemented by non-governmental organizations. The association was awarded on December 5th, 2012 at the Sheraton Hotel, during this year's ceremony of “Annual Awards for Road Safety” Foundation, which for a second consecutive year  is awarding its prizes. The competition "Annual Awards for Road Safety” has six categories - road safety campaign by companies and non-governmental organizations, municipalities, government agencies, media and journalists covering road safety problems.

In connection with the ACCORD* project three partners’ meetings were held with the participation of Safe Kids China (China), Responsible Young Drivers (Luxembourg), TOP-25 (Belgium) and “Open Youth”. They were carried out from 21 to 29 of March 2012 in the cities of Beijing, Hong Kong and Chongqing.

"Open Youth" is the Bulgarian partner, together with Responsible Young Drivers (RYD) - Belgium, RYD - Luxembourg, RYD – the Netherlands, RSI "Panos Mylonas" - Greece.
