Halfords teams up with Marmalade
Activity:

Halfords, the largest motoring accessory company in the UK with 469 stores, has teamed up with young driver specialists, Marmalade to help increase training for new drivers. Leaflets about the revolutionary  learner driver insurance will be in every set of L plates sold in store, directing customers to a joint website www.halfordslearners.co.uk

From this site it is a simple step to take up insurance to practise in a family or friend's car, without affecting the insurance status of the car owner, even in the event of a collision caused by the learner driver.

By increasing the amount of private practice during the learning period, which is recommended by the UK Driving Standards Agency, new drivers will be better equipped to face future challenges on the road. Over 1 million new driving licences are issued every year, and this practical and cost effective insurance solution will go a long way to help new drivers be safer on the roads.
