Monthly local newspaper with subscribers throughout Spain, Europe and South America. The printed version has a circulation of 2,000 copies per month.

We will increase road safety by disseminating to public road users the basic road safety regulations, as well as the main risk and accident factors relating to traffic and how to deal with, or eliminate, such factors. All of this will be carried out through the following actions:

 

"        Over the next three years, we will include a section of advice and information on road safety with numerous themes in the newspaper, entitled "Socuéllamos 30 días", and the website. The first will be about sensible behaviour on roundabouts. The newspaper has a circulation of 2,000 copies a month, and has approximately 10,000 readers.

The advice published will be drawn up by the local police force and the Montero Driving School.

 

"        We will create links to related pages with road safety issues on the newspaper website.

 

"          Following the successful participation and organization of the European Road Safety Day I and II in the town, we will celebrate the next European Road Safety Day with various activities.

 

"          We will further promote the use of new information technologies and communications, continually renewing our website and our blog about road safety, to facilitate the participation of citizens.

 

"          We will promote a greater exchange of experiences and best practices with other entities involved in road safety, mainly signatories of the European Road Safety Charter, attending working sessions, conferences, etc.
