The Albufeira Rotações Clube is a group comprised of motorcycle enthusiasts with some 58 members located in the municipality of Albufeira, Portugal.

In order to improve the situation of insufficient knowledge of the Highway Code, we will organise training sessions aimed at members of the Albufeira Rotações Clube and at motorcycle users in general. We will make these training sessions known by distributing fliers on the street and through the media.

These workshops will be held at least six times per year, with a duration of four hours each, and will be taught by four instructors (driving school instructors from the municipality of Albufeira).
 
Subjects to be covered:

• Defensive driving; accidents.
• Identification of the main errors in driving and their implications on road safety.
• Interaction with all other road users.

Given that the good mechanical state of the motorcycle contributes to minimising the risk of road accidents, we will also include the three following topics as part of the training sessions:

• Motorcycle maintenance.
• Replacement of certain vehicle parts.
• General operation of the vehicle.
