The campaign website has games for testing skills and reactions in various conditions, key information on driving under the influence of drink and drugs, and also features audio advertisements.
The West of Scotland Road Safety Forum is a signatory of the European Road Safety Charter. It is a dynamic and forward-thinking body, and aims to reduce fatalities and serious and minor injuries on the roads.
Its primary activity is the coordination of all aspects of road safety provision across road authorities and the police in the West of Scotland. It is a partnership between the 13 road authorities and Strathclyde Police. The forum covers an area of over 13,000 square kilometres and a population of over 2.2 million people.
Road casualty figures within the West of Scotland Forum area have dropped to their lowest level for three decades. This encouraging statistic is the result of improved safety features in vehicles, advances in healthcare, new and improved road traffic legislation and the extensive work carried out by road safety organisations and individuals.
