The Chalmers University of Technology will annually hold regular road safety prevention courses as part of its international master's programme. A total of 50-80 students will participate yearly in each course. The courses will cover topics including active and passive safety, accidentology and accident reconstructions, impact biomechanics, restraint systems, safety for unprotected road users, safety for elderly people, crash avoidance, driver behaviour, impaired drivers, and vigilance. Each course will comprise about 30 lectures, each lasting 45 minutes.
There will also be a yearly course for automotive engineers. This course will be web-based and will deal with global active and passive safety. It will involve about 20 students.
