ETSC is a Brussels-based independent non-profit making organisation dedicated to the reduction of the number and severity of transport crash injuries in Europe.

From the end of 2004 ETSC will establish the European Transport Safety Platform (ETSP) as a site for openly debating cross-modal approaches to transport safety. Every other month, ETSC will bring together decision-makers from industry, politics and civil society in Brussels. By facilitating knowledge transfer across transport modes, the Platform will make a genuine contribution to achieving the EU target of halving transport fatalities by 50% until 2010.
