Secondary technical school in Snina, in east part of Slovakia has 54 employees and 365 students. In the school area is a driving school which cooperates with secondary technical school.

We would like to commit to European Road Safety Charter with following actions:

• We will organize entertaining discussions for children from kindergartens and elementary schools from the city of Snina. We will teach them about safety behaving of cyclists and pedestrians on the road by fairy tale Bunny Becepáčik (Road Saver) and on the traffic playground.

• We will organize contest of best picture on the topic Road Safety in connection with last lecture of Road Safety, which they will have at school.

• We will organize the competition ¨Super cyclist¨ and ¨Super driver¨ for children of elementary and secondary schools in Snina once a year. For selection process will be important the safety aspects.

• 4.    We will organize contest Super driver for novice drivers which will be connected with Super cyclist. Super driver has to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of safety rules. Supporting activities will be demonstrations of first aid and the rescue of affected people by Fire Rescue once a year.

• We will organize information meetings for elderly people. We will underline the importance of usage of clothes with reflective stripes, to be more visible and also their mobility on the bicycles.

• We will implement tasks under the project "European School" HUSKROUA/0901 by organizing camps for young students from frontier regions to promote road safety - focus on the target group of secondary school pupils. HUSKROUA/0901 is the Hungary-Ukraine-Slovakia-Romania ENPI (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument) Cross-border Cooperation Programme. The Programme offers a wide range of opportunities to the potential Beneficiaries through the four priorities - Economic and social development, Enhance environmental qualities, Increase border efficiency and Support people to people cooperation.

• We will make and evaluate the questionnaire on Road Safety topic for traffic participants in Snina.

• We will organize training of Road Safety for teachers within continual education of teachers of elementary and secondary schools in collaboration with Methodical-pedagogical centre.
