Caritas is a Church group of people who dedicate themselves to caring for the poorest of human beings. Thus, Caritas is the official Church body that expresses God’s preferential love for the poorest on earth. Zamora staff: 275 employees.

In the coming years, our aim is to reduce the accident rate in Caritas in order to reach the target of “0 accidents” during commuting by:

• Improving workers’ mobility
Reducing distances travelled by the workers by promoting and enabling the staff to do their jobs (changing the workplace) from their home address, provided this is possible, from an organizational point of view.

• Improving accessibility to the workplace
Parking management. Increasing the number of parking places available to employees, where possible in the workplaces, in order to reduce driving time while looking for one.

• Awareness campaigns, training and information to all workers
Carrying out Road Safety Trainings 2 hours per worker/year. The training will be provided by the Prevention Society contracted for the prevention of Occupational Risks.

• Annual monitoring and result assessment

These measures will achieve improvements in the health of the employees and in the environment.
