The track is made for racing, the road NO!
The Motoclub Praia a Mare promotes in 2009 - 2010 a campaign to raise awareness among young people on the importance of following the traffic rules. This campaign is sponsored by the Province of Coseno, the Department for Transport, the Italian National Olympic Committee, the Provincial Committee of Cosenza, the Italian Federation Motociclistica Calabria Regional Committee and the Municipality of Praia a Mare.

The campaign is divided into two parts:

- The first, which concerns the use of helmets, is entitled "The track is made for racing, the road NO!" involves the design of three posters to be distributed in the areas of the Tirreno Cosentino (Aieta, Tortora, Praia a Mare, Santa Domenica Talao, San Nicola Arcella, Scalea, Santa Maria dl Cedro, Buonvicino).

The posters will be published weekly and the imagines on them will be reproduced on flyers to be distributed in schools where members of the motorcycle club will be showing educational movies.

- The second part of the campaign is entitled "We Colour the Street" and is aimed at young people from nursery and primary schools. It will consists of publishing a book entitled "Paint the Street" which will contain drawings that will allow children, while colouring, to learn how are made and what’s the proper use of the road parts: pedestrian crossing, sidewalks, traffic lights etc.

In the middle of the educational book will be a double page with the silhouette of a helmet that kids will be invited to colour as they please. The most original design will be transformed into a real helmet and offered to the children from the class winning the competition.
