The mineral oil transport firm ‘Mineraltransport Staenke GmbH’ is a firm specialised in logistics, transport and distribution of mineral oil. It employs 6 persons.

The mineral oil transport firm ‘Heizöltransport Robert Staenke’ has decided to commit to the European Road Safety Charter from 2008 - 2011 to increase the road safety in Europe. For the years 2008 to 2011 we want to achieve the goal of 0 accidents. Therefore we have planed:

1. To have a yearly driver training of more than 7 hours. There, our 5 drivers will be informed and taught about vehicle safety, traffic behaviour, possible risks during driving and risk avoidance.



2. We demand wearing seatbelts, and we check our drivers regularly. Additionally, we will attach stickers in our 7 transport vehicles that will emphasize the necessity to fasten seat belts.



3. With printed information we want to raise further awareness for road safety:
   • We will put printed safety instructions in all vehicles giving further road safety information.
   • A drivers handbook (published by the ‘Oesterreichische Mineralöl Vertriebsgesellschaft’
   • Austrian mineral oil marketing comapany), with road safety advices will be given to all of our 5 drivers.
