During the next three years, we will keep carrying out the same actions:

In order to raise truck drivers' poor awareness of hazards on the road, we will ruffle a driving safety course for three truck drivers at the OEAMTC (Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club), focussing on "load securing". The winners will be determined through a contest held by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

 

We will keep doing our media work, in order to inform the public about the hazards on the road and thereby contribute to reducing the accident rates.

 

Among these measures, we will publish road safety information in the trucking magazine KFZ Anzeiger, and on the Austrian trucking website Truck.at, in order to reach truck drivers, carriers and haulage contractors.

 

We will point out at dangers of driving through the distribution of approximately 100 presentation folders with press reports and photos. These folders will be distributed to all of those instructors giving load securing courses.

 

Failing to clear the trucks' tarp of ice and water before departure is often simply considered a minor slip-up. In order to prevent this, we will raffle off Airpipe Systems and thereby equip three truck trailers with the Airpipe System. The winners will be determined via a contest in the trucking magazine, KFZ Anzeiger, in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
