The IDES is a private, not-for-profit foundation, based in Barcelona and created by the Barcelona College of Industrial Technical Engineers and the Catalonia College of Industrial Engineers. Its main activity is the development of reports and studies and the promotion of road safety from a transversal and transdisciplinary perspective, carrying out analysis, debate and dissemination activities.

In order to improve awareness of the problems associated to road safety, we will promote the study and analysis of the causes of accidents from a global perspective over the next three years, including the following actions:

• Analysis and dissemination of the analysis of the different causes of accidents and the effects of road safety, in the most transversal and transdisciplinary manner possible. For this purpose, a space in the Risk Observatory Annual Report shall be set aside, and some 1,000 copies of this report shall be printed.
• Dissemination of knowledge and information related to road safety through the publication (at least once a year) of articles by different road safety experts on the corporate website of the foundation. The website has an average of 150 visitors daily.
