Anapiria Tora is a supportive civil non-profit organization created in 1993. It publishes the bimonthly magazine Anapiria Tora which is sent for free to 15,000 subscribers throughout Greece, Cyprus and the Greek communities abroad (UK, USA). The website of the company receives more than 190,000 visitors a month; it is also the host of the largest digital community of people in Greece with disabilities with more than 7000 members.
Compromisso
Anapiria Tora commits to the European Road Safety Charter for the next 3 years in the following ways:
1. We will include a section about road safety in our issue of the Anapiria Tora magazine which will be sent for free to 15,000 subscribers from all over Greece and Cyprus. Our magazine can also be accessed through our website and is published monthly.
2. We will include a section about road safety on our website http://www.disabled.gr/. More specifically, in issues relating to accident prevention and the correct usage of the road infrastructure. Our site is currently the largest digital library for disabled people in the world. The site has a total number of 190 000 visitors per month that read over 4.5 million pages each month.
3. In our newsletter we will include a small section about road safety on a regular basis. Our newsletter is sent by e-mail once a week to 13,000 readers. It includes information for people with all kinds of disabilities and information for professionals in the field of rehabilitation and independent living.
