Voltasur S.L. is a company founded in 1987, dedicated to all types of facilities and electrical installations. It has a staff of 70 employees.

Road safety problems in Voltasur are caused by: most of the work to be performed is located in the mountainous area, with bad road surfaces, with reduced visibility in some sections and areas covered by sheets of ice. Moreover, half of the workforce works abroad attending client breakdowns, the daily use of vehicles exceeds 20 units, the main facilities are outside town and there is no public transportation.

For this reason, starting 2012, we will carry out the following actions:

- Training staff through attendance at training sessions and lectures. Setting up a commission for the study and monitoring of the measures created, digital distribution (e-mail, CD/DVD) and by placing posters in collaboration with our mutual accidents insurance company FREMAP.

- Replacement of old vehicles with new ones when these become older than 10 years, with vehicles to be purchased being the most appropriate to the working conditions and different areas where they will be used (4x4, distributing the load etc.).
