Cocemfe Asturias is a Federation of Associations of persons with disabilities, of Public Interest, set up in 1994 to group in a single entity all the associations of persons with physical and organic disabilities from the Principality of Asturias and create a solid and representative infrastructure to work in the promotion and defence of collective rights to their full social integration.

Our actions focus mainly on providing education in road safety through training/ awareness and information campaigns and on the transfer of good practices, as well as on accident prevention.

- The main indicators are:

1.- Publishing the actions being carried out in our quarterly magazine “Ser Capaz” with a print run of 7.000 copies;

2.- Advertising in the media with which Cocemfe Asturias has regular collaborations;

3.- Issuing notices in TPA (Televisión Principado de Asturias – Principality of Asturias Television) with a broadcast of 50 to 100 times per month.

4.- Publishing on the COCEMFE ASTURIAS website (which has more than 40.000 hits) details of the actions being carried out.

5.- Publishing leaflets (between 1.000 and 5.000 copies).

The methodology used is:
The CAMPAIGN will be presented through a PRESS CONFERENCE carried out with the support of MEDIA (internal and external).
The campaign will also be disseminated in the subject areas we deem appropriate and in those with which we collaborate: universities, secondary schools, associations of disabled persons, social networks etc…

The action will be developed by the experts from the Social Area and OTA (Oficina Técnica de Accesibilidad – Technical Office for Accessibility) together with representatives of the Executive Committee in the above mentioned subject areas.

The team will consist of Social Workers, Accessibility Specialists, internal and external Communication Experts, Administrative staff, Designers, Copywriters and members of the Board.
