Commitment
Following our research and study over the last 3 years which confirmed the serious degree of tyre under inflation in Europe, Schrader Electronics will remain focused on promoting direct Tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) devices as it is the only accurate technology that can provide the performance required to maintain the right pressure inside all 4 tyres of a vehicle, hence provide safe driving conditions for Europeans.
Working closely with other stakeholders in the industry we aim to develop new sensor technology to reach the above objective. These innovative solutions will take into consideration future car and tyre technology in order to offer cost effective products to our clients.
Therefore the following actions will be carried out for the next 3 years:
- Participation to industry conferences and seminars, starting with the Tyre technology expo in Koln, February 2010, during which we will discuss the future of TPMS in regulated and non-regulated markets and present our innovative products.
- International press campaign to reach industry experts but also general public.
-Survey the status and evolution of tyre under inflation in Europe and the correlation to road accidents.
-Organise internal training through our intranet. This will be set up in an interactive way with a test at the end of the session to ensure information has been well communicated.
-Keep our staff informed through our website and newsletters about our activities within the scope of European Road safety charter.
