The confederation creates links among national associations of families affected by brain injury in order to provide more information about brain injury and better defend the interests and rights of people with brain injury and their families on a European level.

As road accidents continue to cause a number of deaths, serious injuries and permanent disabilities, we will continue our commitment to the European Road Safety Charter by using our two annual meetings (General Assembly and Foundation Board) to encourage national associations that are already involved to continue their actions and other associations to become involved. 

 

Some associations of families affected by brain injury continue to supplement their victim support activity with specific prevention activities: interventions by some of their members, young road accident victims and their families, who visit schools to talk about how the accident has affected their lives.
