Commitment
In the light of the serious injuries caused by traffic accidents, we aim to raise awareness and encourage civic and responsible behaviour within society, as well as to inform society as to the causes and consequences of brain injury in order to increase understanding. For this reason, we shall be undertaking the following actions over the next three years:
- Some 80 talks will be given by an ADACEN psychologist at 30 schools to approximately 1,600 secondary school and college students between the ages of 12 and 18 years.
The talks will be dynamic and will encourage participation. They will include audiovisual material, and a person suffering from brain injury as a result of a traffic accident will also be present to explain his or her personal experience. - Our website, visited by 2,672 people annually (an average of 222 visits per month) will include information about the European Road Safety Charter.
