Founded in 2004, Arval Magyarország Kft. is now a major Hungarian car leasing company and a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, specialised in full service operational leasing and the management of corporate vehicles.

Arval commits to the European Road Safety Charter with the following actions in order to improve road safety:

 

We offer double Safety + Eco driving training course in Hungary, both to our own personnel and as a service to our customers. We have these trainings for our employees free of charge (10 people/year, max two days) and for our clients (40-50 people/year, max two days) for cost price. This action generates no profit at all for ARVAL.

 

At our regular fleet managers meeting, which are held 1-2 times per year, the Fleet managers get updated about road safety issues, as for example the new 2010 Hungarian Road Safety Code.

 

We also produce materials related to road safety issues, eco-driving and accident prevention: leaflets (200 units/subject) available in our offices, press (various articles).

 

Our communication tools are also used to encourage road safety:

E-news letters to all drivers via e-mail (2000/trimester)

Driver kits with road safety instructions delivered to drivers at the vehicle delivery (1000 units/year).
