Commitment

Safe driving trainings:

Our bus drivers are on the roads every day and know best, what the safety problems are in everyday traffic and especially on the routes of our bus lines. We want to use this knowledge by including our bus drivers in our actions to improve road safety sustainably and in the development of a continuous list of measures to eliminate dangerous spots. For this purpose we will have one-to-one and group meetings on a yearly basis which will focus on e.g. the handling of bus-stops, traffic behaviour and fire prevention.

To further improve the competence of the drivers in dangerous situations, all bus drivers of ZVB AG will be trained in a specially adapted safe driving course once a year.

Training of the railway traction vehicle drivers:

Two times per year our 40 engine drivers are trained in workshops of 4 hours each on operational, technical and security relevant topics to keep their knowledge up to date and to prevent accidents. A special focus in the trainings is on level crossings.

Duration of Commitment: 3 years.
