Athienou municipality was established in 1926 and has a population of 5000 inhabitants.

We will implement measures for road safety basically near schools.

Children have to feel safe to walk on their school and ou target is to create more crossing facilities, pavements and parking facilities.

- We will proceed with the construction of new pavements and we will also repair already existing pavements that are not in so good condition.

- We will upgrade the road lighting

- We will create more pedestrian crossings

- We will create mew parking places to prevent dangerous parking

- We will illumine all existing parking places
