Soysana Servicios Multiples SL
Commitment
In October 2010, Soysana obtained the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard on occupational health and safety, and one of the objectives established is the development of a joint safety campaign at Soysana to raise awareness among employees about their own safety and that of their colleagues, encouraging them to change their attitudes and become more actively involved in safety in the workplace.
It was decided that the campaign would focus on work-related road safety, since actions on work-related mobility result in fewer accidents during journeys to and from the workplace as well as having other benefits, including stress reduction, transport savings and environmental impact reduction.
Over the next few years:
- Emphasis will be placed on the fact that the road is the most dangerous place in the company and posters and documentation will be sought to provide information in this respect.
- Those employees who are interested will be invited to take part in the road safety training course, after which it will be analysed, along with the information provided to the personnel and the impact of the campaign carried out (at least one online/class-based course per year, with a minimum duration of one hour).
Resources: posters to be put up in the workplace, surveys to be carried out on mobility habits, the road safety training course to be made available online and subsequent evaluation of the course to be carried out.
The Soysana team involved in-house comprises:
1. Soysana Manager
2. Management System Director
3. Facility coordinators.
