Association Laurent, Nathalie et les Autres (LNA 47)
LNA 47 seeks to raise the awareness of young people regarding the dangers of the road by exerting an influence on driver and passenger behaviour. Its president, assisted by fire-fighters, emergency doctors, police, insurers and people with road accident-related disabilities, lead debates, screen films, etc., in primary and secondary schools, as well as family homes, among other places. The underlying message is that a driver’s licence is not a licence to kill or die.
Commitment
Within the framework of our commitment to the European Road Safety Charter, LNA 47 undertakes to carry out the following actions over three years:
- Screening of short films in schools, followed by debates on prevention and road safety.
- Participation in various forums on road safety in military barracks, universities, roadside checks, day of courtesy behind the wheel…
- Production of a short film in the first half of 2011 in partnership with students from a secondary school, funded by LNA 47, and with the help of a professional. The film is to compare the life of a young person with road accident-related disabilities, who is a member of the association, and a young person with no disabilities.
- Production of another short film in 2012.
- Transfer of students to the Virazeil Rehabilitation Centre (47).
